Happy New Year & Snow

Happy New Year to our Horton Mill School Community - may this year bring you all good health, happiness and joy! School will open for the Spring term on Monday 6th January 2025.

The snow has arrived in Oldham and there is a possibility that there could be more snow fall over the coming days. To ensure that we can clear a safe pathway within our school grounds, in the event of snow, we will ask all our children and families to follow the path to the school hall instead of the usual classroom doors. 

Depending on the weather conditions as well as the road conditions, we may stagger the start of the school day between 9.00 and 9.30. IF THIS IS THE CASE, SCHOOL WILL SEND A TEXT MESSAGE IN THE MORNING.
